How long is a Singing Telegram?

We like to keep our telegrams short and sweet, about 2-5 min. Think of it as a singing greeting card. 

What songs do you sing?

It depends on the character and the occasion. We typically like to keep it interesting and sing parts of songs, instead of just one song, beginning to end. For example, if you pick the Chicken, it comes in clucking, sings "Bird, Bird, Bird', "Put Another Candle on Your Birthday Cake', 'There's nothing like a Little Chicken', 'Wind Beneath My Wings' and our own version of 'Happy Birthday' and a couple other diddies. 

What is included?

A character of your choice, a themed balloon sculpture, photo ops, and card with your personalized message. Within a 15 mile radius of Asheville, travel is also included. Outside of our local area, travel fees may apply. 

What if I want it recorded or pictures taken? 

You are welcome to record the show or have someone record it for you. If you can't be there, or no one you know can, we offer personalized recording for an additional $40. We bring someone along, we document it, and then we make you a personalized keepsake You-Tube video. You have the option on your video to make it public or keep it a private link.

What character should I choose?

If you want something fun, and outrageous the Chicken and Pink Gorilla are our most popular.

If you want something classic, we say the Sarah Nade the Bellhop, Elvis, or Marilyn Monroe

If you want something silly and sweet, the Giant Heart is cute.

If you want to prank them, the cop is a good option, as we do a fake arrest skit. Skits and Pranks are $20 to add and we have many options.

What if I don't want a character, just a balloon delivery?

No problem! You can have one of our silent characters like a Panda, deliver the bouquet, or we can just do a regular balloon delivery, starting at $75. The most budget friendly delivery service is Asheville, NC

What if I want to order a Singing Telegram but don't know where the recipient will be?

We recommend making sure you know where your loved one will be. We cannot make multiple attempts to deliver the Singing Telegram, so it is important that you know where they will be, whether it's at work, home, or out to eat. If you won't be there it is very helpful to have an onsite contact, someone that can keep tabs on recipient. It is up to you to make sure they are there. After balloons have been made, and singagram is delivered, it is non-refundable. 

What if I'm worried they will be embarrassed or mad about being sung to in public? 

We highly recommend only sending your loved one a Singing Telegram if they are a good sport. Most people are initially embarrassed by the event, but then are tickled that someone would think to do this for them. Only you know your loved one and if they would get a kick out of it. The characters like the chicken or gorilla are more rambunctious, and the bellhop is more classy.

If you think your friend or family member will be genuinely upset with you for embarrassing them in public, we recommend either a home visit or one of our custom balloon deliveries instead. Our balloon deliveries are just as unique without the embarrassment. 

Why is a Singing Telegram such a good idea for a birthday, anniversary or any other occasion?

Because it's so unique and memorable! An important aspect of the singing telegram, is the embarrassment and surprise. No one is expecting a costumed clad character to show up with balloons singingIt's a public declaration, one we guarantee they will remember forever. Think of it as a live singing Greeting Card. That's why we call ourselves 'memory makers', because we know you will talk about it for many years to come. 

What if I don't see the character I want on the list? 

We can do custom characters however it costs extra for our time and materials.

How much notice do you require?

The sooner the better. We need a lot more notice for telegrams scheduled on Saturday or Sunday. We generally are booking six months out for weekend events but have more flexibility during the weekdays. We still have some times available during weekends and do our best to accommodate same day delivery during the weekdays.
